This National Forest Service beach offers sweeping panoramic views of Desolation Wilderness and the west shore of Lake Tahoe from a beautiful sandy beach.  There is also a popular campground located directly behind the beach and offers families a great place to camp close to the water and enjoy beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Kayak Tahoe rents paddleboards and kayaks at this location. Please note, this is a first-come first-served rental operation and no reservations will be taken. Make your first right after passing the entrance kiosk and follow the Kayak and paddleboard signs, we are on the beach. For payment we accept cash or credit card, please remember to bring a photo ID with you.

After driving trough the kiosk, make a right at the immediate T-intersection. follow the boardwalk down to the beach, Kayak Tahoe is located at the end.
